Explore the events, partnerships, and initiatives that have shaped Pivot Dance’s journey so far.

Fall 2025: We collaborated with Planet Pointe to promote accessibility to dance gear and sustainability in the dance community. Through this collaboration, we collected gently used and new dancewear, along with recycled pointe shoes, from donors across the Bay Area in five locations. We collected over 400 items! To thank participants and raise awareness about dancewear waste, donors were entered into a giveaway to win one of Planet Pointe’s signature sustainable pouches, crafted from repurposed pointe shoes that would otherwise be discarded. All collected gear was redistributed through Pivot Dance’s organization, helping students access the equipment they need to train confidently and safely.
